How a handmade pomander became a cultural house of scent.
Two sisters (DeuxPies) Clemency and Melissa, live hemispheres apart on opposite seasons. The way they have stayed connected between Aotearoa (New Zealand) and France is to exchange books, music, materials and fragrance and they wanted to share this wider.
The first shared gift was the traditional pomander, which is now the first edition release in the house. The house is being built to host experiences, tell stories and share found objects that relate to the intersection of nature and culture where scent falls in the spotlight.
